More about Paula:
Paula Steele, LICSW-S, joined the WellStone family in 2017 as an outpatient therapist and became the Director of Acute Care Services in 2019. Paula was chosen as the Director for WellStone Emergency Services in 2021 and has focused on building a safe place for individuals in mental health or substance use crisis to come for recovery. Paula is intentional in developing a culture of respect, acceptance, dignity, and love for clients coming to the crisis center, with a goal for clients to leave with a feeling of hope for their future. Paula also serves as WellStone Emergency Services Director and WellStone’s Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator and co-chairs Madison County’s CIT Steering Committee.
