DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Professional Development Workshop focused on the Four Forces for Influence.The Four Forces of Influence explores how leaders shape behavior and performance through four key elements: Information\, Instruction\, Inspiration\, and Innovation. Participants will examine how each force affects decision-making\, motivation\, and organizational direction. Through practical examples and discussion\, leaders will gain tools to apply the right type of influence in different situations.\nAbout our speaker:\nJOE CALAMUSASENIOR INSTRUCTOR OF MARKETING\, THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMAMANAGING DIRECTOR\, THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA SALES PROGRAMCO-FOUNDER\, SALES & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT GROUP\, LLC Joe Calamusa is the Managing Director of the University of Alabama Sales Program and a Clinical Professor of Marketing in the Culverhouse College of Business. The UA Sales Program is the nation's largest center for sales education\, teaching nearly 1\,500 students each year and contributing more than $300\,000 in annual scholarships. Joe teaches the program's introductory course\, Professional Selling\, to more than 300 students each semester. In his leadership role\, he helps guide the program's purpose\, curriculum development\, and strategic priorities while leading its professors and directors.\nJoe is also an instructor in Culverhouse Executive Education\, where he leads programs focused on leadership\, communication\, and influence. In open enrollment programs\, he teaches sessions such as Storytelling\, Four Forces for Influence\, and Sales Agility. Through custom executive education engagements\, he works with organizations across industries including conference centers\, ecological and lumber companies\, and woodworking manufacturers helping leaders strengthen communication\, decision-making\, and influence within their teams.\nJoe is a founding partner of Sales & Leadership Development Group (SLDG)\, a training and consulting firm formed by professors at the University of Alabama. The firm focuses on modernizing sales and leadership practices and partners with organizations across industries including technology\, health care\, consumer packaged goods\, industrial products\, financial services\, energy\, and human resources.\nPrior to joining the University of Alabama\, Joe spent two years as a Brand Manager for Sara Lee Foods and ten years as a National Sales Manager for Peco Foods.
