Join Leadership Greater Huntsville for a special Community Conversation featuring representatives from U.S. Space Command.

As one of the nation's most important military organizations, U.S. Space Command plays a critical role in planning, executing, and advancing operations in the space domain. This unique opportunity will provide attendees with insight into the command's mission, its impact on national security, and the role Huntsville continues to play in supporting the future of space operations.

Participants will hear directly from Space Command leadership, gain a better understanding of current priorities and challenges, and engage in a meaningful discussion about the evolving space landscape and its significance to our community and country.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear from one of the organizations helping shape the future of space and national defense. This event is only open to dues-paying alumni members and upcoming class members.

You’re invited to join us as we officially welcome the newest classes of Leadership Greater Huntsville and celebrate the beginning of their transformational leadership journey. The Opening Ceremony marks a significant milestone—bringing together new class members, alumni, trustees, and community leaders for an evening of inspiration and celebration.

This event is open to all alumni/graduates and new class members. Please RSVP so we have an accurate headcount.

Thank you to Beth Medley, Keller Williams Realty, for sponsoring this event!

Join us for a Professional Development Workshop focused on "Servant Stories: Using Narrative to Inspire Teams and Move Communities".

This workshop will focus on servant leadership, teaching participants how to use storytelling as a tool for community engagement and volunteer recruitment. The facilitator will show leaders how to turn their "why I serve" into a catalyst that mobilizes others.

Outcome: Participants craft a "servant story" they can deploy at community events, team meetings, and civic presentations.

Professional Development Workshops are open to dues-paying members.

We are gearing up to kick off our 2026-2027 LGH Mentor Program! The mentor program is open to all LGH graduates and current class members. Please complete this form if you would like to participate as a mentee or mentor (or both!).

We will announce matches on Friday, September 25th at a breakfast event, so go ahead and mark your calendars! If you cannot attend this event, no biggie! We can e-introduce matches.

Time commitment: We ask that you connect with your match at least once a month for six months. If you’re matched in September, that means meeting once a month between October and March. Your monthly meetings can be whatever works best for your schedules—coffee, lunch, virtual chats, or another format that makes it easy to connect.

The deadline to apply for the mentor program is September 15th.

Questions? Please email Katelyn at kbaker@leadershiphsv.org.

Huntsville will host the UCI Paracycling Road World Championship September 4-7 in Cummings Research Park. The Rocket City is on the road to Los Angeles -- approximately 350 athletes from 50 countries will come here to race for their spot in the 2028 Paralympic Games, including Team USA! Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make these races safe and successful, from course marshals to sector captains, food service and hospitality, anti-doping to event support.  Please sign up to help at huntsvilleparaworlds.com. Volunteers must be 16 or older, but younger children are welcome to come and sit with you and cheer on the cyclists. If your company would like for someone to come and talk about the Paracycling races and how employee groups can volunteer, please contact Claire Aiello: caiello@hsvchamber.org.
