🌟 Big Day of Service – May 8th! 🌟

Our annual Big Day of Service is happening on Friday, May 8th, and we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and make a meaningful impact across our community.

This is a great opportunity to reconnect with your alumni class and spend the day serving together. After reviewing the project options below, please select your preferred project when completing the registration form.

All registered participants will receive a follow-up email with detailed project information prior to the event.

Nonprofit Projects:

• Next Step Farms
  • Address: 465 Smith Vasser, Harvest 35749
  • Time: 9 AM - 12 PM
  • Volunteers: up to 10
  • Project Description: Planting the garden with our clients, possible canning of jams or pickles, general yard maintenance (weeding eating, spraying weeds etc)
  • Notes for volunteers: wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves for outside, and you will get to work with our population to complete these tasks.

  • Volunteers: 4-8
  • Project Description: Foyer and living room makeover by hanging new picture frames, replacing outdated photos with updated ones, and adding new decorative pieces to refresh the space.
• Southeast YMCA

  • Time: 9 AM - 12 PM
  • Volunteers: 4-6
  • Project Description: Southeast ECEC: Powerwash Playground, mulch playground, paint hallways.
