Description
Join us for our next Community Conversation as we spotlight the incredible work of Kids to Love, an organization dedicated to meeting the immediate needs of foster children while creating opportunities for their future success.
We’ll gather at their brand-new space and hear directly from Lee Marshall, Founder & CEO, about the powerful initiatives Kids to Love is leading in our community—from supporting foster youth to advancing workforce training through the KTECH program.
This is a wonderful chance to connect with fellow alumni, tour the new facility, and learn more about the impact Kids to Love is making right here in North Alabama.
Community Conversations are FREE for dues-paying alumni and current class members. Community guests and non-dues-paying alumni can attend for a fee.
Guest Speaker: Lee Marshall
Lee Marshall is the Founder & CEO of Kids to Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of foster children and families. Inspired by her own adoption story, Lee launched Kids to Love in 2004 from her garage. Today, the organization operates more than a dozen programs across three campuses and has impacted over 316,000 lives.
Under her leadership, Kids to Love provides school supplies, emergency resources, Christmas gifts, and specialized education through its KTECH training program. The organization also offers trauma therapy, transitional housing for girls and young mothers, and is leading the charge on infant safety through the installation of Baby Boxes across Alabama.
Lee is a three-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, a Harvard Business School alumna, and holds degrees in Communications and Social Work. She’s been honored as Entrepreneur of the Year, led a “Best Places to Work” nonprofit, and serves on several boards in her community.
Despite her many accolades, Lee says her proudest titles are wife to Jeff and mom to daughters Ella and Emma.
