Matt Mandrella - Huntsville Music Officer

Matt Mandrella was named the City of Huntsville's first Music Officer in January 2022 to serve as the primary advocate for our growing music sector and to help oversee music-related planning and economic initiatives. Originally hailing from Mobile and a University of South Alabama graduate, he arrived in Huntsville most recently by way of Memphis, Tennessee. There, he managed marketing and new live music projects for the iconic Graceland campus. Prior to Memphis, he spent more than a decade in Austin, Texas working for a variety of different venues, festivals and companies involved with booking and promoting music such as Fun Fun Fun Fest, Mohawk, and Do512.
