Zane currently serves as Executive Director of Enable Madison County, the nonprofit dedicated to enabling older adults and homebound residents in Huntsville to live independently, safely, and with dignity. Earlier, in leadership roles at Thrive Alabama, Downtown Rescue Mission, and Village of Promise, Zane made notable contributions—including bringing President George W. Bush to Huntsville and pioneering programmable giving strategies.
With a grounded belief in service and innovation, Zane is passionate about sparking action and creating solutions that leave a meaningful mark. Zane is an outcome-driven leader with a robust commitment to integrity, profitable growth, and team development, complemented by over 20 years of experience in business development and consultative sales. Known for a high-energy approach, Zane exemplifies persistence and versatility while adhering firmly to structure and process. His genuine and collaborative nature fosters a ‘get it done’ attitude that consistently produces highly productive results.
Zane has most recently served as the Director of Development & Marketing at Thrive Alabama, Downtown Rescue Mission and Villagenof Promise. In these roles, he has demonstrated a unique ability to blend innovation with influence - successfully bringing President George W. Bush, to Huntsville, while developing innovative programmable giving methods.
Zane earned his business degree from Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM). He is passionate about cultivating enthusiasm, inspiring action, and creating community-centered solutions that drive meaningful change.
Zane and his wife Alison currently reside in downtown Huntsville. He is the proud father of two grown sons living in Tennessee and two bonus children attending the University of Alabama, as well as a new grandfather to a four-month-old granddaughter. When he's not working or spending time with family, Zane and Alison enjoy exploring Huntsville’s many trails on their mountain bikes.
